A true "Renaissance Man" of music, David Snyder has been working in the LA area as a pianist, musical director, composer/conductor, producer, orchestrator and songwriter for the past 15 years. His list of clients includes Francis Ford Coppola, Warner Bros., Disney Feature Animation, TNT, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and the Ice Capades. He has worked personally with such artists as Jason Alexander, Christine Ebersole, Jim Bailey, Karen Fineman and Vicki Lewis, as well as on theatrical hits like Sunset Blvd. and Forever Plaid. In 1998, he produced two debut CDs: Christine Ebersole's "Live At The Cinegrill" for Wailing Records, and "The Years Of My Youth" for Larry Stevens (of the old Jack Benny Show).
SONIC LANDSCAPES is David's multi-track digital recording studio, where he creates everything from simple song demos to CDs and film scores. Artists looking for a producer/arranger with consummate keyboard, orchestrating and sequencing skills are encouraged to consider Sonic Landscapes for their next recording project.
David is also interested in hearing from filmmakers in search of a composer who can deliver a first-rate score within a reasonable budget. Following graduate work in film composing, David went on to write the music for a number of award-winning short films, and he is actively seeking a feature project. For the curious, some of his scoring influences include John Williams, Dave Gruisin and David Newman.
Finally, with years of theatre and cabaret work to his credit, David Snyder is widely considered one of the top musical directors in L.A. He has conducted numerous shows at venues across the country and abroad, and he is also available for private coaching in show preparation and repertoire selection.
