A unique new voice in electronic/pop music, Keri Rose is definitely an artist with which to be reckoned. Her music is laden with solid hooks and groovy rhythms. Her lyrics are clever and intriguing. From the striking beauty of "Wild Butterfly" and "Anymore" to the frenetic beats of "Breakdown" and the tour-de-force "Instigator" (featuring Hypnogajaıs ShyBoy), Roseıs music is versatile, accessible and brings a new edge to the pop mainstream. Since her arrival, Rose has performed at numerous clubs in the Los Angeles area. Her first debut performances being at places such as the world famous Whisky A Go-Go, The Roxy, The Gig, and Luna Park. Sheıs also known for turning coffee houses upside-down with her ballads that metamorphose into earth-shattering monsters, but itıs a sound that even the most reserved can appreciate. Her well-known "Instigator" aired on Foxıs psycho-sinister TV show Brimstone and in Radio Silence directed by Zalmon King (Red Shoe Diaries, 9 1/2 Weeks). You can also catch two of her songs in the upcoming movie The Young Unknowns directed by Catherine Jolski. In addition to her movie debuts, she was a guest speaker on behalf of the NAS at the Musicianıs Institute of LA for the panel "Electronica: Beyond the Mirror Ball".
Born in Arkansas, this small town girl has made her way through many cities across the U.S. and abroad. Her familyıs nomadic and tumultuous lifestyle gave her the courage to drive cross-country alone to follow nothing but a dream, a dream that has slowly but surely evolved into a reality that she has created all by herself. She has been writing songs and performing since the age of 4. On a different note, she also studies acting at the prestigious Howard Fine Studio in Hollywood while working on her new album. Her advice to anyone trying to accomplish the seemingly impossible is "Know yourself, be yourself and trust yourself because in the beginning and in the end that is all you have."
