Uncle Jake has recently added bassist Mike Presley a.k.a. Larry Chronic Jr. to the line-up (yes - he is actually related to Elvis). We will be showcasing our new originals, and we are also available for four-set/cover gigs.
It's a shame old Uncle Jake didn't live to see the day his nephew named a rock band after him. Jake is the favorite late uncle of Todd Murdock, the front man of this Costa Mesa, CA based trio. Uncle Jake has appeared with X, Dishwalla, Buddy Miles (Hendrix), Dick Dale, Ronnie Montrose, and Lee Rocker. They have been featured on the "Local Licks" program of Los Angeles radio station KLOS twice. Their music has been featured several times on PLANET X, an extreme sports TV show shown on Cox Cable Channel 3, and a live performance will be aired in the near future.
